In the new SBS drama 'Spring of the Four Seasons', Park Ji-hoo showcases her true 'manhwa character' qualities as Kim Bom, the 'life force queen' rom-com female lead who breaks through various comics.
'Spring of the Four Seasons' tells the story of 'Sagi', a star from the top K-pop band who gets expelled from the team and, amidst the ups and downs of starting college life, meets 'Kim Bom' and makes a spectacular comeback in this youth music romance.
Directed by Kim Sung-yong, who has received acclaim for his delicate direction in works like 'Black Sun' and 'Lovers', 'Spring of the Four Seasons' is produced by the 'band powerhouse' FNC and aired by 'drama kingdom' SBS, heralding the birth of a new concept youth music romance drama that continues the legacy of the hit 2009 series 'You're Beautiful'. The casting of fresh young actors Ha Yoo-jun, Park Ji-hoo, and Lee Seung-hyup is drawing attention as a unique key that will shake up the romance drama scene.
In this regard, Park Ji-hoo has revealed her first look as Kim Bom, who is set to rise as the trend in youth rom-coms, capturing attention. Scenes highlighting Kim Bom's (Park Ji-hoo) cheerful, lively, and bold charm have been captured. Dressed in a white shirt and a pink knit vest, Kim Bom flaunts her pure visuals that dominate the campus with her shining eyes and clear skin, while also showcasing her focus as a musical genius from Hanju University’s Practical Music Department, playing the keyboard and getting lost in music.
Additionally, Kim Bom, who showed her true self as a 'professional part-timer' while wearing a doll mask, takes off the mask and makes a cute expression, radiating liveliness. Moreover, at home, she ties her hair back tightly and shows a determined expression, embodying the 'life force queen' rom-com female lead.
Park Ji-hoo stated, "I had the opportunity to read the script and met the director, which led me to meet Bom," revealing her reason for appearing in 'Spring of the Four Seasons'. She also described her character Kim Bom as "a musical genius who loves music very much. Although it’s sometimes heartbreaking to see her working hard every day at various part-time jobs to maintain a difficult livelihood, I think she is a very strong and admirable friend who perseveres and ultimately succeeds."
