Choi Si-hoon, a businessman and actor who is the husband of singer Ailee, recalled the tough times he faced due to rumors surrounding him.
On the 23rd, MBN’s ‘Let’s Go’ featured the couple Ailee and Choi Si-hoon, who shared various stories.
That day, Ailee reminisced about their wedding, saying, “I thought I would cry a lot since both my parents have passed away,” and added, “So I wanted to have a fun and exciting party vibe in the U.S.”
She also expressed her gratitude towards her mother-in-law, saying, “I was really thankful that my mother-in-law tried to take care of me like my own mom.”
The topic of rumors surrounding Choi Si-hoon also came up. After appearing in the Netflix original series ‘Solo Hell’ Season 1 in 2021, he was engulfed in rumors of being from a host bar, to which he clarified, “I am not a host bar player. I can stake my life on it.”
He said, “I don’t know how I overcame it. I spent a long time sitting in a corner of the underground parking lot. I even picked up smoking again,” and added, “How can I prove that I didn’t do it? At that time, I was alone and didn’t know how to cope, which made it hard for me to give up on acting.”
After marrying Ailee, he faced rumors again, this time about being the manager of a ‘Bebang DJ’. Ailee mentioned, “While we were on our honeymoon, new rumors started circulating,” and said, “I was stressed, but since we were together, we turned off our phones and had a good time.”
Choi Si-hoon expressed his feelings, saying, “There are many difficult things even when you stay still, and I felt sorry that such things happened because of my husband.”
Ailee and Choi Si-hoon got married last April and are currently sharing updates about preparing for pregnancy through YouTube and other platforms.
