Singer Ahn Seong-hoon revealed the reason for his challenge to the 'Marathon Event'.
On the morning of the 19th, an online press conference for MBN's 30th anniversary special project 'You Have to Run to Live' was held. The press conference was attended by Sean, Lee Young-pyo, Bae Seong-jae, Yang Se-hyung, Heo Jae, Yang Jun-hyuk, Ahn Seong-hoon, and Yul-hee, among others.
Ahn Seong-hoon confessed, "When I told my agency that I wanted to participate in 'You Have to Run to Live', no one believed me. I had never shown them that I exercise, and they were initially worried that I might collapse while running."

He continued, "In spring, singers have to participate in events, so they were concerned about how I would manage if I had overlapping schedules. They wondered if I could handle both performing and running. However, I felt that if I didn't take this opportunity, I might not be able to exercise in my 30s," adding, "I am now in my late 30s. Singing is important, but this year is the Year of the Snake. I am a Snake. I wanted to challenge myself and achieve something new."
Regarding the initial and current reactions of his agency towards the 'Marathon Event', Ahn Seong-hoon said, "The president is amazing; now he is even trying to schedule marathon events," and shared, "I once attended a marathon event where they sang in the morning. I think they expect that if I become a runner, I will be invited to perform at many marathon events. If they invite me, I will do my best at anything."
'You Have to Run to Live' is a sports reality show that captures stars from various fields challenging themselves to a marathon, overcoming their wounds and limits. The first broadcast is scheduled for the 18th at 8:20 PM.
