IVE (Ahn Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Lee Seo), the 'MZ Wannabe Icon', has taken the world by storm with their unique 'ATTITUDE'.
According to Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, IVE's title track 'ATTITUDE' from their third mini album 'IVE EMPATHY' ranked 9th on the Spotify 'Top Songs Debut Global' chart for the period of February 7-9. IVE is the only K-pop group to make it onto this chart during that time.
The global popularity of 'ATTITUDE' was anticipated early on. The day after its release, 'ATTITUDE' entered the Spotify 'Daily Top Songs US' and 'Daily Top Songs UK' charts, and also made its mark on the 'Daily Top Songs' charts in countries such as South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong, garnering intense interest from music fans worldwide.
The song is also showing a steady rise on domestic charts. As of 9 AM on the 13th, 'ATTITUDE' ranked 2nd on the Bugs real-time chart and 2nd on the daily chart (as of February 12), as well as 3rd on the Melon HOT100 (30-day) and 5th on the HOT100 (100-day), securing a top position on the charts. As of 1 PM on the 14th, it also recorded 1st place on YouTube's trending music video chart in Korea. IVE also claimed their first trophy for 'ATTITUDE' on Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 13th.
'ATTITUDE' conveys the message that the only thing we can change in an unchangeable situation is our own attitude towards it, embodying the 'IVE way of thinking' that embraces situations cheerfully.
