DAY6's Sungjin recalled the time during his hiatus.
On the 10th, DAY6 appeared as guests on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block'.
When Yoo Jae-suk mentioned Sungjin's hiatus, Sungjin said, "Since the end of the 'Every DAY6' project in 2017, I needed a break. But I had to keep running without rest. I was gradually pulling myself up, but it was hard for me to let go, and I didn't want to be a burden to the others, so I endured that time as best as I could, and it was the hardest period for me."
He continued, "That was a time when I could hardly breathe. I also didn't want to show it. It festered and eventually burst, and I realized that 'I have to take care of myself'."
In response, Dowoon said, "What I could say was, 'Recover and come back. It can take 10 years. We'll be fine doing our own thing.' That was always my message. My goal was to not put any pressure on him."
