The 'MZ wannabe icon' IVE has caught attention by unveiling the concept photos for their new album for the first time.
On the 7th, their agency Starship Entertainment released the first concept photos for IVE's third EP album 'IVE EMPATHY' through IVE's official SNS channels.
In the concept photos, An Yujin, Jang Wonyoung, and Lee Seo exude a cool and free-spirited mood against the backdrop of vast grasslands, showcasing a unique charm.
First, An Yujin gazes at the camera while wearing a checkered jacket and denim pants, holding a bow and branches, perfectly blending with the natural surroundings.
Jang Wonyoung showcased overwhelming visuals with a bridge hairstyle. In particular, the portrayal of the strong winds of the grassland added vividness, and the thick fur hat and injured arm evoked thoughts of hunting, further stimulating curiosity about the album's concept. Lee Seo, dressed in a bohemian style with a backpack, stood in the wilderness, reminiscent of a traveler, and her sharp gaze towards the camera exuded charisma.
The concept photos, featuring the members blending into nature along with elements like bows, branches, and backpacks, evoke the idea of a 'road trip,' creating a different atmosphere from the trailer photos released on the 6th and heightening anticipation for the new album.
Moving forward, IVE will unveil various versions of concept photos and films, and on January 13, they will continue the comeback excitement by releasing the pre-release title track 'REBEL HEART' along with its music video.
Having perfectly embodied various concepts each time and showcasing their unique presence, they plan to convey a message of 'empathy' in a more mature form, moving beyond their previous 'self-love' with this new release.
Meanwhile, IVE's new album 'IVE EMPATHY' will be released on February 3 at 6 PM (KST) through various online music sites.
