Lee Min-woo's fiancée shed tears as she recalled memories of her ex-husband.

In the episode aired on the afternoon of the 11th on KBS2's 'Salim Nam Season 2' (hereafter 'Salim Nam'),

the Min-woo family appeared. On the 15th day since merging with the new family, Min-woo, along with his wife and daughter, shared plans about looking for a maternity hospital, a postpartum care center, and a daycare for their daughter, stating they had signed a contract for a family car.

The three visited the community center to apply for resident registration. When Min-woo asked the public office staff if the fiancée and daughter would appear on the family relationship certificate, the staff replied, "You need to go through the adoption process for your child." Min-woo was taken aback by the unexpected term and asked, "Adoption?" Baek Ji-young also expressed her surprise, saying, "Even if you two get married, Mi-chan cannot legally be your daughter."

The fiancée seemed unfazed by the term 'adoption.' Min-woo honestly expressed his concern, saying, "I was worried about how Mi-chan might feel since the word 'adoption' might be more unfamiliar to her."

Later, the couple visited Lee In-cheol, a family law attorney. The attorney explained, "When you register your marriage, you think of your spouse and children as family, but that's not the case. You need to go through a special procedure. That's adoption." He then suggested, "Shall we have a serious talk while Mi-chan plays with her sister in the next room?"

In response, Min-woo said, "But Mi-chan has separation anxiety," indicating that separation would be difficult. The fiancée added, "It's been too long since we've lived just the two of us. Since there's a baby in my belly, I guess she's feeling a lot of anxiety," mentioning that their daughter has separation anxiety.

In fact, even before going to the community center, Mi-chan had been crying. Lee Min-woo recounted, "My wife went out briefly to pick up food, and the child was crying and causing a scene. I was so flustered that I had a panic attack and was sweating profusely. She has grown up in her mother's hands," acknowledging that it was natural for her to feel anxious.

Fortunately, when the fiancée said they would meet again in a few minutes, Mi-chan understood and went to the next room.

The attorney explained, "In a general adoption, a relationship is formed with Min-woo. From Mi-chan's perspective, she has two parents: a biological father and an adoptive father. In a stepchild adoption, the relationship with the biological father completely disappears, and a new dad (Min-woo) is established," indicating that there are two types of adoption.

The couple chose stepchild adoption. The attorney then stated, "For stepchild adoption, the biological father's consent is required." He continued, "Have you received sufficient child support? Have you seen the child often?" to which the wife coldly replied, "No. No." When the attorney asked, "What do you think the biological father's position would be?" the wife eventually shed tears.

The wife expressed, "Raising Mi-chan alone while sorting out the family register and custody took a lot of time, and I never thought it would be easy to remarry since I still need the biological father's consent. I'm really grateful for my brother who embraces everything," as she cried.

Earlier, the first family featured on 'Salim Nam' was Park Seo-jin's family. The Seo-jin family embarked on their first overseas trip to Macau, following Seo-jin's guidance.

The first place they visited was Senado Square. When a staff member at a jerky shop confessed, "Park Seo-jin? You're cool. Oppa!" Seo-jin seemed speechless as if his brain had stopped. A Chinese woman also said, "I'm a fan," to which Hyo-jung remarked, "Now that we're in Macau, they recognize Oppa. Park Seo-jin's overseas expansion!" expressing surprise at his popularity.

Seeing many fans recognizing Seo-jin during the trip, the mother couldn't hide her pride, saying, "I was thrilled."

Upon arriving at St. Paul's Cathedral, the Seo-jin family had a happy time taking photos. Seo-jin's mother shared her excitement in an interview, saying, "We've never been on a honeymoon. I was so happy to see him jump while holding his dad's hand."

On the second day of the trip, since it was Hyo-jung's first overseas trip, Seo-jin headed to a place where they could see various parts of the world in Macau. After arriving at the Macau Eiffel Tower, everyone seemed to be in a good mood taking pictures, while the father sat on the street, seemingly in pain, taking out medicine. He candidly shared in an interview, "I'm in pain, but I can move a bit. I feel resentful that I can't do anything as the head of the family, and I felt a little sorry for being just a burden."

In front of the family, he said, "It's okay. As long as you guys are happy," but Seo-jin expressed his concern, saying, "Did I not think about my parents and plan the schedule too tightly? I don't even know where the hospital is, and even if I immediately book a flight back to Korea, it would take more than 12 hours."

The Seo-jin family took care of their father, saying, "Earlier, you said you weren't in pain," and thus the trip was concluded the next day due to the father's declining health.

On the third day, they went sightseeing in the city. Ultimately, they went out without the father, who was in pain. Seo-jin mentioned, "The next day, they said Dad took his medicine and felt better. Dad wanted to rest comfortably at the hotel and take Mom and Hyo-jung to see Hong Kong, so he came out of the hotel," indicating he was concerned about his father.

Thus, Mom, Seo-jin, and Hyo-jung created travel memories while exploring the streets of Hong Kong.

‘Salim Nam’ airs every Saturday at 10:45 PM.
