Broadcaster Park Na-rae confesses the reason she has not been able to visit her grandparents' house since they passed away.
In the MBC entertainment program ‘I Live Alone’ airing on the 26th at 11:10 PM, Park Na-rae's experience of organizing her late grandparents' house will be revealed.
Park Na-rae stands in front of her grandparents' house, unable to take a step forward, and tears up. Summoning her courage, she stands at the front gate and says, “Grandma, Grandpa, Na-rae is here,” but as soon as she opens the gate, she collapses and bursts into tears.
Instead of the warm welcome she always received from her grandparents, the overgrown weeds tell the story of the empty time that has passed. Repeating “What should I do” while looking around the yard, Park Na-rae sits on the bench that stands still and lowers her head.
Park Na-rae shares, “They say it's a healthy mourning period, but I couldn't do that,” and confesses, “I couldn't come because I felt like I would collapse if I came to this house.” She expresses her desire to personally organize the house of her grandparents, who cherished and loved her the most in the world, and confronts the memories of her grandparents that remain in every corner of the house.
In the released photos, Park Na-rae is seen pulling out weeds with her bare hands, unable to hold back her tears and sobbing. She struggles to pull out the weeds that remain, wiping away her unending tears as she says, “I came too late.”
Park Na-rae's appearance as she organizes her grandparents' house, which holds memories for everyone, can be seen in ‘I Live Alone’ airing on the 26th at 11:10 PM.
