Actor Kim Min-kyo recalled his hiatus due to injury.
On the 15th, Channel A's 'Close Friends Documentary: Four-Person Dining Table' featured Lee Pil-mo inviting Lee Jong-hyuk and Kim Min-kyo to share their stories.
On that day, Kim Min-kyo said, "I tore my ACL during a performance. After the show, I went to the hospital, and they told me, 'After surgery, you probably won't be able to run and will likely walk with a limp.'" He reflected on that time.
Kim Min-kyo continued, "I couldn't do anything for a year and a half—six months in the hospital and a year at home. As the rehabilitation period dragged on, I had nothing to do. At that time, people around me said, 'Play games. It will help pass the time.'"
He added, "During that time, I created a character in GTA. That became a turning point for me to become well-known. I ended up doing a lot of advertisements because of that."
Meanwhile, 'Close Friends Documentary: Four-Person Dining Table' airs every Monday at 8:10 PM.
