Singer Lyn shed tears while watching Shin Seung-tae's performance.
The first round of the main competition featuring the top 7 from Korea and Japan was depicted in the MBN broadcast of '2025 Korea-Japan King of Kings Competition' on the 9th.
On this day, Shin Seung-tae faced off against Juni after the preliminary round. He expressed his determination, saying, "There will be no concessions. I will win again for a clean victory."
Shin Seung-tae chose Lee Eun-mi's 'Nocturne' for his performance. He sang calmly, and Lyn, upon hearing it, showed a sad expression and leaned down in her seat. In particular, she shed tears at the lyrics, "Don't feel sorry. You did nothing wrong."
Regarding the reason for her tears, Lyn said, "The faces of people I felt sorry for throughout my life flashed by. It felt like Shin Seung-tae was comforting me."
