Broadcaster Kim Jun-ho shared his thoughts after getting married.
In the episode aired on the 6th, the Channel S entertainment program ‘Nidon Naesan Dokkab Tour 4’ (co-produced by Channel S and SK Broadband) featured Kim Dae-hee, Kim Jun-ho, Jang Dong-min, Yoo Se-yoon, and Hong In-kyu embarking on a trip to Kazakhstan, the "heart of Central Asia," where they camped in the great outdoors, fulfilling Jang Dong-min's dream.
In particular, Kim Dae-hee, who became the 'most isolated' member of the trip, perfectly executed the penalty of eating 'Koidan Bas' (sheep head dish), a luxury dish in Kazakhstan, showcasing the 'Dokkab spirit' by saying, "If I'm told to do it, I will do it!" which thrilled the viewers.
On that day, the 'Dokkab members' set off to 'Kolsai Lake' with their local guide Nora. Shortly after, they were awestruck by the cobalt blue shimmering 'Kolsai Lake.' Yoo Se-yoon exclaimed, "This place is definitely number one for views. It's pure art~" and began taking life shots. Later, the 'Dokkab members' played a game of 'bottle stacking' to decide who would pay the entrance fee and coffee costs. As a result, Kim Jun-ho came in last and had to pay the penalty for the first time. After a proper healing experience, they headed to a camping site in nature recommended by Nora to set up their equipment.
At that moment, Kim Dae-hee expressed his concern, saying, "What do we do about our bathroom?" as they had to use a 'natural bathroom.' After a while, when the signal came, Kim Jun-ho entered the woods with an umbrella to take care of business and shared his know-how of covering himself with the umbrella after digging a hole, bringing laughter to the members.
Jang Dong-min transformed into 'Chef Jang' and began cooking for the camp. He said, "I brought some aged kimchi made by my mother in Korea," and started making 'Samgye-muk-ji-kimchi-tang' (chicken soup with aged kimchi) for the first time in the world (?). While Jang Dong-min's 'K-cuisine' was being prepared, the 'Dokkab members' played a game of 'pulling green onions' to decide who would choose their sleeping spots. At that time, Kim Dae-hee pulled the longest green onion and came in last, leading to his frustration. Finally, the dish was completed, and Jang Dong-min expressed his happiness, saying, "Food tastes better at high altitudes."
Kim Jun-ho boasted, "This is my first overseas trip after getting married, and I was happy that Ji-min saw me off, saying, 'Have a good business trip.'" At that moment, Hong In-kyu suddenly asked, "What do you think is the advantage of marriage?" After a brief pause, Kim Jun-ho replied, "Having a reliable ally? The sense of stability is the best." Then Kim Dae-hee suggested, "A housewarming party, won't you have one?" to which Kim Jun-ho promised, "I will do it soon," and expressed his gratitude, saying, "I was happy that all the 'Dokkab members' came to the wedding. Especially, I was thankful that 'Kkondae-hee' held Ji-min's hand and walked down the virgin road instead of her father."
However, Kim Dae-hee, fully immersed in the 'Kkondae-hee worldview,' replied playfully, "Sorry. I was hospitalized due to a twisted intestine and couldn't go to the wedding. So, I don't know about ('Kkondae-hee's) performance." This left Kim Jun-ho dumbfounded as he pointed out, "You didn't come, but you sent a congratulatory gift, and 'Kkondae-hee' came but didn't give a gift?"
In response, Kim Dae-hee said, "Really? 'Kkondae-hee' complained that he didn't give me the fare to Busan." Kim Jun-ho then exclaimed, "He shouldn't do that! He uploaded all the videos of my wedding on 'Kkondae-hee's YouTube!" causing a stir at the scene. Amidst their playful banter, they finished off the ramen and went to sleep in the tent while gazing at the stars in the night sky.
The next morning, the 'Dokkab members' had a simple breakfast with crispy nurungji (scorched rice) and canned side dishes. Shortly after, they played a game of 'handmade sailboat race' for the car rental fee. In this game, Yoo Se-yoon came in first, while Hong In-kyu faced obstacles at the last minute and came in last, creating a dramatic situation that stimulated dopamine. After the game, guide Nora arrived and explained, "Today, we will go to 'Kainidi Lake.' It will be a rough journey as it is off-road."
Afterward, the 'Dokkab members' boarded a 'Purugong' and traveled close to the lake, switching to horses midway to reach the lake. Kim Dae-hee joyfully exclaimed, "This is the best. It's bigger and faster than the horse I rode in Mongolia." Following that, they took in the fairy-tale scenery of 'Kainidi Lake' and played a 'guess the distance' game to determine the last 'isolated member' across the lake. In this round, Kim Dae-hee lost by a narrow margin, confirming him as the 'most isolated member' of the Kazakhstan episode.
As the 'most isolated member' for the first time, Kim Dae-hee went to a high-end restaurant to fulfill the penalty of eating 'Koidan Bas.' Jang Dong-min explained, "In Kazakhstan, they cook 'Koidan Bas' when hosting important guests. Each part has a different meaning."
In response, Kim Jun-ho joked, "Since our Dae-hee hyung has a bad memory, let's give him the (sheep's) brain~," making everyone burst into laughter. Faced with the daunting 'Koidan Bas,' Kim Dae-hee closed his eyes as a sheep head disassembly show unfolded before him. In the tense situation, the 'Dokkab members' took turns offering their well-wishes while poking the parts of the sheep head they wanted to give him with forks. Surprisingly, Kim Dae-hee broke everyone's expectations by exclaiming, "Every part I eat is tender and delicious," leaving the 'Dokkab members' flabbergasted, and they ended up tasting 'Koidan Bas' together.
The travelogue of the 'Dokkab members,' who showcase their genuine chemistry filled with laughter on every trip, continues in the 16th episode of Channel S's 'Nidon Naesan Dokkab Tour 4,' airing on September 13 at 9 PM.
