Actress Hong Jin-hee reveals a heartbreaking story with her mother.

On the 8th at 8:30 PM, KBS2's entertainment program ‘Park Won-sook’s Let’s Live Together’ will feature Kim Young-ran as a guest.

Lee Soon-sil, who has never had a day off since defecting, challenges her first ‘hotel vacation’ with her sisters. The four women, appearing at an infinity pool that seems to touch the sea and sky, catch the eye with their unique swimming pool fashion.

In particular, Lee Soon-sil, who has worn a ‘prison uniform’ but never a ‘swimsuit’, elicits a bittersweet smile. Her family steps in to help her overcome her water phobia stemming from past trauma of defection, and she gradually becomes enchanted by the joys of water play. Additionally, the contrasting personalities of Hong Jin-hee and Lee Soon-sil are revealed. While Lee Soon-sil, trying skating for the first time, shows her strong-willed side, Hong Jin-hee, appealing as a skating novice, holds the hand of a stranger, creating a contrasting atmosphere.

Original cast member Kim Young-ran visits. As Park Won-sook's beloved younger sister, she brings energy to the show with her lovely charm, having previously provided laughs with her chemistry with Hye-eun. When the ladies compliment each other's appearances for a long time, Lee Soon-sil, who has been listening silently, expresses that “unlike South Korean women, the topic of conversation for North Korean women is survival,” indicating her inability to relate to her sisters' discussions. Meanwhile, Kim Young-ran reveals an unexpected connection with Lee Soon-sil. She recalls her father, a displaced person, shedding tears over the family he left behind in North Korea, conveying the pain of division.

Kim Young-ran introduces the culture of the MZ generation. She shares her recent interest in MBTI and analyzes the personalities of the family members one by one, humorously contrasting Park Won-sook's personality with her own, which has been shaped by over 40 years of friendship. When she shows a conversation with AI, Hye-eun, who is not tech-savvy, humorously reacts, asking, “Is it a person?” as if she is shy around machines.

Meanwhile, the sad family history of Kim Young-ran and Hong Jin-hee is revealed. Following Young-ran, who suffered from lethargy after losing her mother, Jin-hee shares that her mother, whose health had deteriorated to the point of needing a kidney transplant, refused the transplant out of concern for her daughter, leaving a heavy emotional impact.

The heartwarming reunion with original cast member Kim Young-ran can be seen on September 8 at 8:30 PM on KBS2’s ‘Park Won-sook’s Let’s Live Together’.
