Season 2 of 'Hyungsuda' covers the case of 'serial killer' Yoo Young-chul.

In the 7th episode of the E Channel original web entertainment 'Hyungsuda' Season 2 (hereafter 'Hyungsuda2'), which will be released on the YouTube channel 'Criminals' Chat' on the 5th, announcer Jo Woo-jong will join detective Kang Yoon-seok as a guest following the previous broadcast.

This episode is prepared as the third part of the summer season limited corner 'Tales of Horror Told by Detectives'. In the early part of the broadcast, Lee Yi-kyung introduces a horror story based on true events. A woman returning home late at night after working overtime got into an elevator with a man wearing a hat, who did not press any floor button, raising her curiosity.

As the woman hurriedly tried to take out her keys after getting off the elevator, the man who followed her said, "Stay right there," and attempted to kill her with a hammer. He then threatened her not to report it, saying he would spare her life because he was in a good mood.

A few days later, someone rang the doorbell at the woman's house, and a police officer showing an ID asked if she had seen any suspicious person, as a series of murders had recently occurred in the area. Fearing retaliation, the woman could not answer, and the police officer said, "Good job. Keep doing that," sending chills down everyone's spine. The man in the elevator had impersonated a police officer.

Along with the horror story, the broadcast also introduces a real incident where someone impersonated a police officer. In 2004, a man appeared in front of a street vendor selling illegal goods at the Dokkebi Market in Hwanghak-dong, Seoul, showing a police ID and claiming he would arrest him.

He drove the vendor's car, not a police car, kidnapped him, handcuffed him, and took him to his officetel. The man who committed the crime acted meticulously, and it was revealed that he had dreamed of becoming a police officer but turned to crime after being frustrated due to color blindness.

This man, who had 14 prior convictions and had made actual crime tools himself, was known to have played Vangelis' 'Conquest of Paradise', the theme music from the movie '1492: Conquest of Paradise', while mutilating the body, shocking everyone. This man was none other than 'serial killer' Yoo Young-chul.

The broadcast will reveal the truth behind the horror stories that spread alongside Yoo Young-chul's crimes, along with his actual handwritten confession. Additionally, profiler Kwon Il-yong will share Yoo Young-chul's outrageous answers that defy common sense, and detective Kang Yoon-seok will recount his experiences of conflict while meeting Yoo Young-chul. The behind-the-scenes of the Yoo Young-chul case that shook South Korea and the reality of the horror stories will be unveiled through 'Hyungsuda2'.

‘Hyungsuda2’ can be watched every Friday at 7 PM on the YouTube channel 'Criminals' Chat'.
