Actress Jung Ga-eun reveals the behind-the-scenes story of obtaining her taxi driver license.

In a pre-released video from episode 9 of MBN’s ‘Let’s Go’ Season 5, actress and single mom Jung Ga-eun makes a surprise appearance as a taxi driver, sharing the story of how she obtained her taxi driver license and revealing her earnings from her first ride, drawing attention.

MCs Ahn Jung-hwan and Hong Hyun-hee get into the taxi driven by Jung Ga-eun to meet the mysterious character ‘Little Wang Jo-hyun’ who invited them. They notice Jung Ga-eun’s license placed in the taxi and ask, “Is your real name Baek Ra-hee? You must have gotten your license on April 17,” inquiring about her reasons for becoming a taxi driver.

In response, Jung Ga-eun explains, “While doing YouTube, I was contemplating content ideas, and since I am the head of my household, I thought it would be great to film content about having a ‘second job.’ That’s when people around me suggested getting a taxi driver license.”

She continues, “It seemed fun. I also enjoy driving. Plus, my father was a model taxi driver with no accidents. So I thought, ‘Let’s give it a try,’” revealing her unique driving genes that surprise everyone. Notably, during the filming of her YouTube content, Jung Ga-eun expressed her strong maternal instincts, stating, “I am a single mom raising a child alone. I will do everything that is given to me.”

Additionally, when the MCs ask about her earnings as a taxi driver, Jung Ga-eun shares, “Two weeks ago, I drove four teams. I earned 40,000 won after driving for about four hours,” which astonishes everyone. She adds, “The earnings were like that because of filming. If I drive outside of filming, I think the income would be quite good,” increasing curiosity about her taxi driving experience.

Meanwhile, ‘Let’s Go’ Season 5 is a nationwide house tour program where Ahn Jung-hwan and Hong Hyun-hee visit special and meaningful places, such as a friend’s house or workplaces that best showcase the individual, to share life stories.
