Jang Hee-jin revealed that she has recently been a victim of jeonse fraud and pickpocketing.
On the afternoon of the 23rd, the JTBC variety show ‘Knowing Bros’ (hereafter ‘Ahyung’) featured Park Jun-kyu, Yeom Kyung-hwan, Lee Gyu-han, and Jang Hee-jin as new students.
During the broadcast, Jang Hee-jin mentioned that she has many connections with the members. In response, Kang Ho-dong and Lee Soo-geun cheered for her love line with Jang Hoon, saying, “Is it from ‘Miwoo’s Family’?” When Seo Jang-hoon appeared flustered and said, “It was just an interview,” Jang Hee-jin expressed her disappointment, saying, “Senior Shin Dong-yeop tried to set us up, but Jang Hoon kept drawing the line.”
In response, Seo Jang-hoon clarified, “It’s not about drawing a line... I was worried about getting involved and having articles come out, but actual articles came out.” However, the members were suspicious of Seo Jang-hoon’s behavior, which was very different from usual, and Kim Young-chul showed interest in Hee-jin, asking, “Doesn’t Hee-jin like my style?”
Yeom Kyung-hwan supported their love line, saying, “Jang Hoon, I watched that broadcast. Hee-jin said, ‘I’m okay with a divorcee,’ so I think you were worried a lot.” When Kim Young-chul asked how she felt, Jang Hee-jin humorously replied, “Can I talk about it tomorrow?”
Additionally, Lee Gyu-han made a significant remark, saying, “I was very close to Young-chul, but we became distant. I left because of Young-chul, even though we were in the same agency.” Gyu-han, who appeared on ‘Real Men’ with Young-chul, said, “The drama director asked if there was anyone who could make a cameo, and I thought Young-chul would definitely come out, so I even made a script. I felt too proud to ask him personally why he didn’t.”
He continued, “I heard through the agency that it wasn’t a fixed appearance and that he wouldn’t do a cameo. But a few days later, Young-chul appeared as a cameo in Kim Hee-sun’s drama. So, I deleted Young-chul’s number,” revealing that he cut ties with Young-chul.
Hearing this, Young-chul hugged Gyu-han and apologized, saying, “I’m so sorry.”
Yeom Kyung-hwan, who appeared on a variety show after a long time, said, “First, you know I was a comedian. Eun-yul is going to the army now. He applied for KATUSA. Second, he’s in the 5th grade of elementary school.”
He added, “If he sees ‘Knowing Bros,’ he might ask, ‘Dad, what are you selling?’ The first one was popular when he appeared on ‘Bungeoppang.’ He has a lot of talent, and I thought he would do broadcasting later, but he’s currently drawing webtoons,” revealing his son’s recent activities.
Jang Hee-jin, who recently experienced jeonse fraud, said, “I’ve never had a big problem in my life. I’m weak at preparing for things. My mom told me to record it, but I thought, why would I do that? I never thought something like that would happen to me. But it was resolved well,” she said.
She also mentioned being pickpocketed, saying, “I went to Spain for a shoot. My manager was carrying my bag with valuables while I was filming. While moving to another location, at some point, my bag was gone. It caused a huge commotion. It was the first day of filming. People told me to give up because they couldn’t find it. But on the last day of filming, my manager came running, shaking my bag. When he opened it, everything was there. It turned out that the pickpocket had stolen so much that he had about ten bags, and the police caught him. They said this kind of thing doesn’t happen.”
Hearing this, Seo Jang-hoon said, “Hee-jin is lucky,” to which Lee Soo-geun added, “If you meet Jang-hoon, you don’t have to worry about jeonse fraud. The whole family can come in.” In response, Seo Jang-hoon humorously said, “I live in jeonse,” showcasing his unexpected charm and making everyone laugh.
After the self-introductions, the members participated in the first Good Guy Ability Test, sharing dad jokes. Lee Sang-min answered, “The opposite of Shin Ha-kyun is Hwang Jae-kyun,” and Seo Jang-hoon said, “The reason ice cream couldn’t become a singer is that it couldn’t record,” among others, and the Seo Jang-hoon-Jang Hee-jin team took first place.
Next was a mixed music quiz. When Kim Hee-chul got most of the questions right, the other members seemed anxious and racked their brains. When Shin Dong made the last question, Seo Jang-hoon and Jang Hee-jin shouted, “Like Rain by Kim Hyun-sik, Roly-Poly by T-ara,” successfully turning the tables.
Seo Jang-hoon and Jang Hee-jin received a snack set as a prize for winning.
