It has been 17 years since actor Late Lee Eon passed away.

Lee Eon tragically left this world on August 21, 2008, after a motorcycle accident while returning home from the wrap party of the KBS drama 'Strongest Chil Woo'. He was 27 years old.

The sudden news of Lee Eon's passing shocked fellow actors, entertainment industry officials, and fans.

Lee Eon debuted as a model in 2000 and was a former wrestler who won a gold medal at the National Sports Festival in 1997. He began his acting career in 2006 with the film 'The King of Wrestling Madonna', and gained recognition through the drama 'Coffee Prince'.

Actor Gong Yoo, who worked with him on 'Coffee Prince', reminisced, "He was a manly friend. It's unfortunate that he couldn't show more of what he had to offer."

Co-star Kim Jae-wook also expressed his longing, saying, "Every year around this time, I think of the day he left us. He was someone who had a lot he wanted to do."
