Model and actor Bae Jung-nam revealed a story about rejecting advances from top stars.

On the 19th, SBS’s ‘Shoes Off Dolsing Po Man’ featured guests Bae Jung-nam, Go Woo-ri, Jo Hyun-young, and Kim Kyu-won.

On that day, Bae Jung-nam mentioned that he received many advances from actresses in the past, saying, “During my peak as a model, people looked at me with curiosity,” which drew attention.

However, Bae Jung-nam also shared that he had a tough life even while being loved as a model. He recalled, “I looked great in photos, but in reality, I lived in a moldy house. I lived in a semi-basement with a deposit of 3 million won and a monthly rent of 300,000 won, working part-time jobs every day.”

Bae Jung-nam said, “A woman I knew asked me to have a meal, but I declined. If she bought me a meal, I would have to buy something too, but I had no money. That was the biggest issue. At that time, I thought it would be better to bite my tongue than to feel embarrassed.”

He continued, “One day, while shooting a photoshoot, someone brought a person. A top star came. They suggested having a cup of coffee, but I rejected it due to feelings of inferiority. I felt even more burdened because I lacked ability.”

Meanwhile, ‘Shoes Off Dolsing Po Man’ airs every Tuesday at 10:40 PM.
