The love between Namgoong-min and Jeon Yeo-bin has created a new miracle.
In the 11th episode of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama ‘Our Movie’ (directed by Lee Jeong-heum, written by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung-min), the genuine love for movies and each other between Lee Je-ha (played by Namgoong-min) and Lee Da-eum (played by Jeon Yeo-bin) moved the audience, leading to a green light for the production of the movie ‘White Love’. The 11th episode recorded a viewership rating of 3.9% in the metropolitan area, with a peak rating soaring to 4.9% (according to Nielsen Korea).
Lee Je-ha and Lee Da-eum successfully gathered the staff for the movie ‘White Love’ and, after discussions with the production company representative Boo Seung-won (played by Seo Hyun-woo), decided to conduct an exclusive interview with reporter Noh Hee-tae (played by Jeon Seok-chan). They revealed the process of casting Lee Da-eum as the lead, the secrets of the movie ‘White Love’, and the renowned director Lee Doo-young (played by Kim Jae-cheol), embracing each other as they navigated the difficult path together.
After the interview with Lee Je-ha and Lee Da-eum, Boo Seung-won and Chae Seo-young (played by Lee Seol) also played their respective roles in creating ‘White Love’. Boo Seung-won declared a halt to investment in response to an investor trying to meddle with the film, delivering a refreshing blow. Chae Seo-young persuaded lead actor Kim Jeong-woo (played by Seo Yi-seo) to accept his salary as a share of the box office, alleviating concerns about production costs.
Go Hye-young (played by Seo Jeong-yeon), the representative of Chae Seo-young's agency, got involved as an investor, and funding using behind-the-scenes footage shot by Lee Da-eum progressed smoothly. As the goodwill of those who wanted to protect the passion and dreams of people who love movies came together, the filming of ‘White Love’ resumed, bringing a sense of emotion.
As Lee Je-ha and Lee Da-eum met and discovered hope, their love deepened as they found the light of life. Enjoying dates at a new filming location and imagining happy times together after finishing the movie, the smiles of Lee Je-ha and Lee Da-eum tugged at the heartstrings.
With love and the movie progressing smoothly, Lee Da-eum momentarily forgot the end that awaited her. However, a call from the funeral director reminded her that her life’s ending was approaching. Feeling her condition deteriorating, Lee Da-eum prayed earnestly every day as she continued filming.
Lee Je-ha also paid special attention to Lee Da-eum's health, making detailed adjustments to his character without compromising the emotional depth. He contemplated changing the previously written tragic ending to one where the female lead finds love with the male lead. In response, Lee Da-eum asked Lee Je-ha, “Does love disappear just because I die?” urging him to maintain the original ending, which left him in deep thought.
As ‘White Love’ raced towards its ending, Lee Da-eum collapsed just before filming began, shocking everyone. Lee Je-ha declared a halt to filming and stayed by Lee Da-eum's side in the hospital. As the end they had been trying to ignore drew closer, both Lee Je-ha and Lee Da-eum shed tears, deepening their affection for each other.
Lee Je-ha and Lee Da-eum expressed their feelings for each other, promising steadfast love with “I love you.” As they loved each other more passionately than anyone else, attention is focused on what kind of ending awaits Lee Je-ha and Lee Da-eum.
‘Our Movie’ will air its final episode today (19th) at 9:50 PM.
