‘The Manager’s Perspective’ showcased the vibrant daily lives of K-POP representative girl group (G)I-DLE, known for their unique concept execution, and comedian Shin Gi-ru, who celebrated her 20th debut anniversary.

In the episode aired on the 17th, the first full group outing of (G)I-DLE after their re-contracting was depicted alongside a special day for Shin Gi-ru, who held a debut celebration party with her close comedian friends.

The broadcast drew attention as (G)I-DLE, the representative of K-POP, made their first full group appearance after successfully re-contracting. Currently operating under a one-member-one-manager system post-recontract, (G)I-DLE moved to a shop with their dedicated managers.

First, leader So-yeon showcased her close chemistry with her same-age manager Park Se-in, while Yuqi raised the mood by singing with her manager Jo Hyun-jin. However, the atmosphere in the youngest member Shuhua's vehicle was starkly different, creating laughter as it reflected each member's unique personality.

Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE's new song ‘Good Thing’, which has been a hit on music charts with every release, was premiered on the show. The guests in the studio couldn't hide their excitement as they grooved to the rhythm.

It was revealed that the new song ‘Listening Party’, held to celebrate their 7th anniversary, carries the concept of a ‘funeral’ symbolizing letting go of a girl (G). Under So-yeon’s unique idea, the members communicated with fans in real-time, creating memories together.

After their schedule, (G)I-DLE held a housewarming and 7th anniversary party at Minnie’s recently moved-in home. Behind-the-scenes of their re-contracting was also revealed, capturing attention. They shared that they signed the contract just before going on stage at an awards ceremony, and “So-yeon conducted individual interviews, and it was kept so secret that even the managers didn’t know about the re-contracting,” which drew interest.

With a deep trust in each other, (G)I-DLE announced a new beginning, raising expectations for their future activities.

Next, the cheerful day of comedian Shin Gi-ru, who celebrated her 20th debut anniversary, was also revealed. Arriving at the agency office by driving herself, Shin Gi-ru met with CEO Lee Kang-hee. The two exchanged their usual banter and immediately moved to take a psychological test together. During the move, Shin Gi-ru suggested a shocking fan meeting idea to CEO Lee, planning a semi-nude photo shoot as merchandise, which made everyone burst into laughter.

Shin Gi-ru began the psychological test with CEO Lee and expressed her concerns, saying, “It’s been 20 years since I started working, and I wonder if I’m okay these days.” Always seen as bright and confident, she shed tears at the expert's diagnosis that she seems to show minimal interest in herself. The true feelings that Shin Gi-ru had hidden deep inside touched the hearts of viewers.

Later, Shin Gi-ru held a 20th debut anniversary party with comedians Heo Anna, Lee Eun-hyung, and Jang Do-yeon, with whom she has maintained a relationship for over 10 years. Gathering at their favorite chicken place, they shared stories from when they ate 8 chickens at once to memories of ordering too many dishes and getting scolded by the owner, showcasing their ‘true friendship chemistry’.

In particular, Shin Gi-ru caused laughter by secretly hogging food while her younger friends were talking. The gathering of true friends, filled with revelations, laughter, and feasting, made for a delightful Saturday night.

Next week’s broadcast will unveil the daily life of the monster rookie singer Jo Jae-ju, who overcomes his face with his deep emotional voice, and hitmaker An Young-min, who transformed into his manager. Behind-the-scenes of the hit song ‘Do You Not Know’ and Jo Jae-ju’s mini-concert with glamorous acquaintances like actors Lee Dong-hwi and Hyun Bong-sik will be revealed.

Meanwhile, ‘The Manager’s Perspective’ airs every Saturday at 11:10 PM.
