Soobin from the group Tomorrow X Together showcased his unfiltered talk.
On the 16th, MBC's 'Radio Star' featured guests Jang Geun-suk, Lee Hong-ki, Soobin, and Kim Shin-young.
On this day, Soobin explained why he was chosen as the leader of Tomorrow X Together, saying, "The members and the rookie development team staff voted, and they unanimously chose me. I tend to get along easily with everyone, and they thought I would be good at bridging the gap between the company and the members. Also, since the members are all shy and have trouble speaking, they said I should represent them and speak on their behalf."
Soobin added, "I speak my mind to the company without hesitation, so they call me 'HYBE's Lee Hong-ki.' Even before the recording, they told me to be careful with my words. Since I can't go in with them, I need to filter what I say."
When Lee Hong-ki remarked, "You really need to be careful about that. When I was renewing my contract, there was a sentence written in red that said, 'I will not cause damage to the company's image or tarnish the company's reputation,'" Soobin humorously replied, "It doesn't matter. We're in a strong position during the contract renewal period, so we have the upper hand."
