The ‘Boys2Planet’ team mentioned the fairness of the broadcast time for the participants.
On the 16th, a production presentation for Mnet's new audition program ‘Boys2Planet’ was held at The Saint located in Sindorim-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by CP Kim Shin-young, PD Jung Woo-young, Ko Jeong-gyeong, along with common masters Lim Han-byeol, Hyorin, Baek Gu-young, Justhis, K-master Lee Seok-hoon, Kinky, Kani, C-master Kim Jae-joong, Shao Ting, and Jayrik.
Set to premiere on the 17th and 18th at 9:20 PM, ‘Boys2Planet’ is receiving global fan expectations with its unprecedented scale and composition, fitting the title of ‘K-Pop World Scale Debut Project’. Boys starting from two different planets, K Planet and C Planet, come together to move towards the sun. Participants from K Planet, which is primarily Korean, and C Planet, which is focused on the Chinese-speaking region, will unite and showcase their talents.
CP Kim stated, “I always tell the participants, ‘If you have overwhelming talent, charm, skills, or a shining character, your chances of being on air increase,’ and emphasized that ‘you must do whatever it takes to show your charm.’ The criteria for participants' broadcast time are centered around this point. The production team is working hard to showcase everyone and ensure that various participants are highlighted.”
He added, “Both K and C Planet will be judged based on fair evaluation criteria without bias. I believe the balance between fans on both sides will not be disrupted.”
‘Boys2Planet’ features a record number of 160 participants, promising a scale rarely seen in survival history. Beyond just viewers, attention is focused on who the star creators will be that bring ‘the combinations I created’ to reality, and on the ‘one pick’ they choose.
