Broadcaster Jung Ga-eun shared her experience of feeling upset due to her reduced income compared to before.
On the 16th, MBN's 'Sokpuri Show Dongchimi' released a preview video for the upcoming broadcast on the 19th.
In the video, Jung Ga-eun began by saying, “My income has been unstable professionally, and last year I particularly had very little income.”
She continued, “While raising my daughter, I can hold back on what I want to wear, but I want to buy everything my daughter wants to eat,” adding, “In the past, I could buy everything my child wanted, but last summer, I couldn't do much broadcasting and only did theater, so my income was really low.”
She then shared, “I went to a café with my daughter and her friend, and the kids wanted to eat a piece of cake each,” expressing her disappointment, “But I couldn't buy two.”

Jung Ga-eun lamented, “I felt really sorry at that time. If it were like before, I would have bought one for each of them. It was upsetting that I couldn't readily buy something worth a few thousand won.”
Co-star Kim Hyun-sook empathized, saying, “It’s sad not to have a choice because of money.”
Jung Ga-eun has been raising her daughter alone since her divorce from her ex-husband in 2018.
Recently, she drew attention by revealing her challenge of becoming a taxi driver, and after much effort, she successfully got a part-time job as a taxi driver, receiving support from many.
Regarding her challenge to become a taxi driver, Jung Ga-eun clarified the speculation about her financial struggles, saying, “It’s not as abundant as before, but I’m managing to make ends meet. You don’t have to worry.”
