According to the Gold Derby website, a media outlet predicting American awards, Lee Jung-jae from 'Squid Game' has been nominated for Best Actor among the six nominees for the '2025 Gold Derby TV Awards'.
In the Best Supporting Actress category, Kang Ae-sim, who played the mother Jang Geum-ja participating in the game with her son, and Park Gyu-young, who played the defector No-eul, are also nominated.
In the Best Supporting Actor category, Lee Byung-hun, who appeared as the villain Frontman in 'Squid Game', and Choi Seung-hyun (TOP), who played the rapper Thanos, are nominated, while Gong Yoo is nominated for Best Guest Actor.
Additionally, 'Squid Game' has caught attention by being nominated for Best Drama Series and Ensemble of the Year at the Gold Derby TV Awards.
The Gold Derby Awards is a ceremony that selects outstanding works and actors in 30 categories, including drama, variety, animation, and film. The results will be announced on the 18th of next month.
