Comedian Jo Hye-ryun revealed her close friend Hong Jin-hee's past.
In the episode aired on the 14th of KBS2's 'Park Won-sook's Let's Live Together' (hereafter 'Let's Live Together'), Park Won-sook, Hye-eun, Hong Jin-hee, and Yoon Da-hoon were seen meeting Jo Hye-ryun.
On that day, Jo Hye-ryun shared that she became close to Hong Jin-hee while they were using the same dressing room for dramas and comedy shows. The two have maintained their friendship for about 30 years.
Jo Hye-ryun said, "I always felt something about Hong Jin-hee. I thought, 'I wish there was a program that could express Hong Jin-hee well,' and then I heard that we ended up doing 'Let's Live Together'." She continued, "When you first see Hong Jin-hee, you think, 'She's too strong,' or 'She has too much personality.' But these days, in the era of individuality, people can say, 'That's really cool,' and I think it's very harmonious that we are doing 'Let's Live Together' at this time."
Additionally, Jo Hye-ryun remarked, "What surprised me is that in the past, Hong Jin-hee would speak without thinking, but these days, watching 'Let's Live Together', she seems to think before she speaks. I thought, 'She must say something by now,' but she doesn't," which drew laughter.
Meanwhile, 'Park Won-sook's Let's Live Together' airs every Monday at 8:30 PM.
