Actor Im Chae-moo revealed that he has accumulated a debt of 19 billion won from operating the amusement park 'Doolyland'.

In a preview of the KBS entertainment program 'The Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears' aired on the 13th, MC Park Myung-soo was seen visiting the amusement park 'Doolyland' located in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province. This is a place that Im Chae-moo has been operating himself for about 40 years since 1990.

Park Myung-soo asked, "How much have you borrowed here?" to which Im Chae-moo replied, "19 billion won," surprising everyone. He continued, "Daily sales are between 160,000 to 320,000 won. To lower taxes, I have to take on more debt, and these days I am feeling very cornered," expressing his difficult situation.

Im Chae-moo is known for selling two apartments in Yeouido, Seoul, to build the amusement park 'Doolyland' for children. It is said that in the early days of operating the amusement park, he faced difficulties, even living next to the restroom with a military bed, but he poured in extraordinary affection for it.

In particular, Im Chae-moo offered free admission to the amusement park as a good deed, but ultimately faced operational difficulties due to the burden of operating costs.

Since the opening of the amusement park, it has been running at a loss and was closed in October 2017 due to environmental issues such as fine dust. Then, in April 2020, it was renovated into a multipurpose space including an indoor theme park and training center and reopened.
