Actress Joo Bu-jin shared her recent status after colon cancer surgery.
On the 9th, her daily life was revealed on the TV Chosun entertainment program ‘Perfect Life’.
Joo Bu-jin, who was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in the past, recounted, “In 2008, while filming a drama, I suddenly felt severe abdominal pain and went to the hospital. The local hospital told me to go to a larger hospital. After tests at the larger hospital, I was told it was stage 3 colon cancer,” sharing the urgent situation.
She continued, “I underwent surgery to remove 30cm of my colon and received a total of 12 chemotherapy treatments,” conveying the difficulties she faced after the colon cancer surgery, evoking sympathy.
Having regained her health, Joo Bu-jin surprised everyone by revealing that she is currently active as a member of an orchestra in Yeongdong-gun, Chungbuk. When a photo of her playing the violin was shown, MC Oh Ji-ho asked when she started learning, to which Joo Bu-jin replied, “I have been playing the violin since middle school. I am active as a member of an amateur orchestra.”
