Actor Song Geon-hee and Nam King from the girl group "I.I.I" have joined the "Dog Pampering" event, the "Dog Sports Day".
In the JTBC entertainment program "If You Leave Home, You Get Pampered" aired on the 6th, actor Song Geon-hee, who captured hearts with his roles in the dramas "Sky Castle" and "Jumping Over the Wall", joined as a new intern teacher.
Despite suffering from severe dog allergies, with swollen and red eyes, Song Geon-hee's love for dogs was evident as he overcame these challenges to be with his pet. In response, Jo Han-sun said, "I plan to keep him here overnight," making plans to keep him as an intern teacher. Kang So-ra and Ray also pressed him, asking, "You have spare clothes, right?" and "You don't have a schedule tomorrow, do you?" Eventually, Park Sun-young joked, "Whenever someone comes, they grab our pants. It's too pitiful," bringing laughter.
Meanwhile, it was the day of the "Dog Sports Day" where all students from the "Large Dog Class" and "Small and Medium Dog Class" gathered. Kang So-ra, Jo Han-sun, and Song Geon-hee worked hard to set up a podium for the opening ceremony and a space for a total of four rounds of competitions in the outdoor playground. Park Sun-young and Ray completed all preparations by making banners, signs, and prizes. Thus, all students and the guest intern teacher, Nam King from the girl group "I.I.I", gathered in the playground for the "Dog Sports Day". Park Sun-young served as the MC, and teams were divided into "Large Dog Class" and "Small and Medium Dog Class" for the competition.
The first round was "Sniff Dive", where the team that eats the most treats from a cup within a time limit wins. The first player from the "Small and Medium Dog Class" was "Hodu", a dog from the patrol team who would jump into fire for treats. From the "Large Dog Class", "Lotto", the official growth character of "Dog Pampering", who shows growth in every class, stepped up. Everyone expected Hodu to win, but while Lotto was cautiously searching for treats, Hodu only stared at Lotto and stopped. Hodu's intense gaze made Lotto freeze as well, and seeing them looking at each other, Park Sun-young exclaimed, "Did you two fall in love?" Eventually, the time limit ended with Lotto's victory. Kang So-ra expressed her surprise at the unexpected twist, saying, "I never imagined Hodu would lose." In the following second round, Kenny quickly grasped the game rules and perfectly followed the teachers' intentions, clearing all the treats. Ultimately, "Sniff Dive" was won by the Large Dog Class, earning them 50 points.
The second round was "Black and White Teacher", where the class representative teacher, blindfolded, had to touch the paws of their assigned dogs, and the team that guessed the most correctly would win. From the "Small and Medium Dog Class", Kang So-ra, known as "Sky Castle's Top Teacher", and from the "Large Dog Class", Jo Han-sun, a "Certified Pet Owner", participated. The first dog, "Udo", approached Jo Han-sun, who was able to guess correctly just by hearing its breathing. However, when the second dog, "Kenny", approached but got scared and couldn't touch its paws, Jo Han-sun guessed "Lotto" without checking the paws, causing things to go awry. Kang So-ra meticulously analyzed the fur texture, paw size, and even the distribution of fur to identify the "Small and Medium Dog Class" students. In the end, Kang So-ra won "Black and White Teacher", earning 50 points for the "Small and Medium Dog Class". Kang So-ra declared, "You must trust me completely," showcasing the prestige of being "Sky Castle's Top Teacher".
With both teams tied, the third round featured "Dog Dance", a sport where dogs and their owners perform various movements to music. For the "Dog Dance" demonstration, trainer Do Soo-jung and Shetland Sheepdog "Cash" came as special guests to showcase the "Dog Dance" stage. Trainer Do Soo-jung and Cash created a fantastic performance based on trust and communication, even walking together with their paws raised. Ray commented, "It was like they were casting a spell, running and spinning beautifully. I thought I was watching a music video," expressing admiration.
In the "Large Dog Class", trainer Kim Hyo-jin and "Helper Dog" Hannah, along with Park Sun-young and Kenny, and Song Geon-hee and Noel participated. In the "Small and Medium Dog Class", Ray and "Sensory and Cognitive Impaired Dog" Teto, Kang So-ra and "Helper Dog" Story, and Nam King and Hodu took on the challenge. Typically, it takes 1-2 months to complete a song, but at "Dog Pampering Kindergarten", under trainer Do Soo-jung's special training, they learned various dog dance techniques such as "Spin & Circle", "Luring", and "Around". The students displayed high concentration while performing dog dance movements. The skills of the competing dogs in the dog dance will be revealed next week.
"Dog Pampering Kindergarten" operates under JTBC's "If You Leave Home, You Get Pampered", which airs every Sunday at 10:30 AM and is pre-released on Coupang Play every Saturday at 5 PM.
