Actor Jang Hyun-seong revealed comedian Yoo Jae-suk's past.
On the broadcast of SBS ‘Whenever Possible,’ on the 1st, Jang Hyun-seong and Kim Dae-myung appeared as guests.
On that day, Yoo Jae-suk reminisced about his hometown, Su-yu, saying, "This is my hometown." He continued, "This used to be a mountain, but it has changed into a park. It has completely changed since I lived here."
Yoo Jae-suk recalled, "I lived in Ballaegol, but when I went out far and took a taxi home, I didn't say to go to Ballaegol. The sound of 'Ballaegol' was a bit off, so I just asked to go to Su-yu-ri."
Later, his friends Jang Hyun-seong and Kim Dae-myung appeared. Jang Hyun-seong drew attention by revealing his connection with Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok.
Jang Hyun-seong said he first met Yoo Yeon-seok in the drama ‘Pumpkin Flower Pure Love,’ stating, "At that time, Yoo Yeon-seok was a rookie, and I was doing a daily drama for the first time. I was fine, but Yoo Yeon-seok was really skinny and worked so hard."
When Yoo Jae-suk said, "I heard Yoo Yeon-seok also lived hard," Yoo Yeon-seok reacted, "Why are you talking in the past tense?" He then joked, "I am doing dramas and variety shows. My journey is ongoing."
Additionally, Jang Hyun-seong mentioned, "I got to know Yoo Jae-suk while doing programs, but I remember when he was a college student. Yoo Jae-suk was in the class of '91, and I was in '89. When I returned to school after serving in the military in 1990, Yoo Jae-suk was there."
Jang Hyun-seong recounted, "It was December 1993, in the middle of winter. As the sun was just rising, the returning students were exhausted from staying up all night and were lying down. While resting on a bench that looked like a jar stand near the school, a group of three or four students started coming in front of the school gate. However, they were not dressed like the usual students at school. They were wearing suits, had oil in their hair, and looked like they were listening to music that only they could hear."
Hearing this, Yoo Jae-suk reacted, "You talked for a long time, but in short, doesn't that mean you didn't want to see me?" Kim Dae-myung confirmed, "To put it briefly, it means they looked like delinquents," which made everyone laugh.
