Actress Seo Min-jung, who is living in the U.S. after her marriage, has shared her recent updates.
On the 5th, Seo Min-jung posted on her Instagram, “My daily life is really monotonous. As a mom to Yejin (daughter), a mom to Jinjeo (dog), and a wife to Mr. Ahn (husband), I find myself repeating the same routes and places, and a year passes by so quickly,” adding, “It feels like it’s already been 20 years since ‘High Kick’ started.”
She continued, expressing her desire to share something on social media, but feeling embarrassed for not having much to share, she said, “Since about two weeks ago, I’ve been receiving more and more DMs from people saying they are watching ‘High Kick,’ and at some point, I felt really grateful.”
She added, “In 20 years, so many dramas, movies, and content have come out, yet people still look back at ‘High Kick’ and remember me, sending me such kind messages. It truly touched my heart.”
Recently, while in New York, Seo Min-jung heard students saying, ‘I love ‘High Kick’’, ‘I love Seo Min-jung’, and she expressed her apologies, saying, “I was sorry for just greeting from afar, worried you might be disappointed by my aging appearance.”
Finally, Seo Min-jung expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank you so much for not forgetting me for so long and for coming all the way to check on me.”
Seo Min-jung married her Korean-American husband right after the end of ‘Unstoppable High Kick’ in 2007 and moved to New York. After giving birth to her daughter the following year, she stopped all broadcasting activities and effectively left the entertainment industry, but she made a welcome return to the public in 2017 by appearing in various variety shows. Since her appearance on KBS2’s ‘Problematic Men’ in 2019, she has been living in New York and communicating with fans through social media.
