In 'Whenever I have a chance,' Namgoong-min, Jeon Yeo-bin, and Lee Seol successfully completed their adaptation to entertainment as a trio of entertainment beginners.
On the broadcast of SBS's entertainment program 'Whenever I have a chance' on the 17th, the two MCs Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok, along with 'friends of the show' Namgoong-min, Jeon Yeo-bin, and Lee Seol, visited the Yeouido Han River cruise and a drum practice room to present heartfelt lucky moments.
From the opening, Namgoong-min, Jeon Yeo-bin, and Lee Seol captured attention with their nervous demeanor as entertainment beginners. During a talk, Jeon Yeo-bin suddenly shouted, "Can I take a quick break? Seol needs to fix her hair," surprising everyone. In response, Yoo Yeon-seok explained, "In entertainment, there are no breaks. Actors have this habit because of NGs," and Jeon Yeo-bin humorously apologized, saying, "Oh, the camera is still rolling. I'm sorry," which brought laughter.
The host of the show was the captain of the Han River cruise. He revealed his past connection with Yoo Jae-suk during entertainment filming and impressed everyone with his craftsmanship, having protected the Han River for 40 years. The first game was 'Flying Spoon,' where they had to flick a spoon onto a plate. Namgoong-min advised Lee Seol, "You have to hit it, Seol," but ended up missing his swing and exclaimed, "I'm so embarrassed," which made everyone laugh. However, Yoo Jae-suk succeeded in the first stage with a clean hit on his first try.
When it was Namgoong-min's turn, Lee Seol offered him a spoon, saying, "I warmed it up for you, senior!" Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok quickly teased, "That's quite the courtesy," and Yoo Yeon-seok even joked, "I warmed it up too, hyung," causing a burst of laughter. After Yoo Jae-suk successfully completed the second stage with a bonus coupon, the atmosphere became electrified, but the host suddenly called for a stop, recording the shortest stop time in history with eight challenges left. Namgoong-min exclaimed, "This isn't the old way. Entertainment has changed a lot," which made Yoo Jae-suk burst into laughter.
Yoo Jae-suk, Yoo Yeon-seok, Namgoong-min, Jeon Yeo-bin, and Lee Seol enjoyed a successful lunch together. They shared their painful memories from their rookie days while walking in Yeouido.
Yoo Yeon-seok shared, "When I felt strangely confident during auditions, I often didn't succeed. Conversely, there were times when I did well when I thought, 'Whatever, let's just do it,'" sharing his honest experiences. Namgoong-min nodded in agreement, saying, "I also went to a lot of auditions, and I failed at all three public auditions with hardly any callbacks. So when I see actors who have survived at award ceremonies, I think, 'You’re still surviving too,'" which resonated with Yoo Jae-suk, who added, "You really develop that sense of camaraderie after going through tough times together," adding warmth to the conversation.
The second meeting with the host took place in a drum practice room. The host, a drummer from Cho Yong-pil and 'Great Birth,' heated up the atmosphere with an impromptu live performance of 'Exit 5 of Hapjeong Station' with Yoo Jae-suk.
The second game, starting with one bonus coupon, was 'Drum and Flip,' where they had to hit a drum to flip all the coins on it. Jeon Yeo-bin easily succeeded in the first stage on her third attempt, earning the title of 'God's Hand.' However, the second stage was a high-difficulty mission that required everyone to succeed. Even the host, who has held drumsticks for a lifetime, missed the bonus coupon opportunity.
As the final challenge approached, Namgoong-min dramatically prepared, saying, "I didn't expect to bet my life on this," and desperately shouted to Yoo Jae-suk, "If this round fails, please let it be your failure!" which made everyone burst into laughter. Unfortunately, the game ended in the second stage. Namgoong-min, with a flushed face, asked, "Is it usually like this?" and the host comforted him with a warm hug, easing his disappointment.
Thus, Namgoong-min, Jeon Yeo-bin, and Lee Seol, as a clumsy yet sincere trio of entertainment beginners, brought delightful laughter and luck to the hosts in the Yeouido area.
Meanwhile, the variety show 'Whenever I have a chance,' featuring MCs Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok, gifts luck during brief moments of everyday life, airs every Tuesday at 9 PM on SBS.
