In the 40th episode of KBS2's weekend drama ‘Please Take Care of Eagle Brothers 5!’ (directed by Choi Sang-yeol and Lee Jin-ah, written by Koo Hyeon-sook) aired on the 15th, Dong-seok and Ma Gwang-sook (played by Um Ji-won) were shown receiving approval from each other's families.
On this day, the viewership rating recorded 22.1% (based on Nielsen Korea nationwide), setting a new record for itself. The scene where actress Park Jeong-soo appears as Dong-seok's mother-in-law, foreshadowing another challenge for Dong-seok and Gwang-sook's romantic relationship, soared to 24.4%.
As Dong-seok confidently passed the difficult tests set by the five brothers, Princess Sil (played by Park Jun-geum) attempted to push for the marriage of Gwang-sook and Dong-seok. Originally planned to air 50 episodes until the end of July, ‘Please Take Care of Eagle Brothers 5!’ will now increase to a total of 54 episodes, continuing to grace the home theater until early August.
