Actor Kim Min-kyu has joined 'Cheongdam International High School 2' and is showcasing a strong presence.
The new drama 'Cheongdam International High School 2' (directed by Lim Dae-woong and Park Hyung-won, written by Kwak Young-im), set to premiere in July, is a high-teen psychological thriller that combines a power game at the elite Cheongdam International High School with a youth romance. Returning cast members Lee Eun-sam and Kim Ye-rim from Season 1 are joined by new actors, raising expectations.
This season's 'new face' Kim Min-kyu plays the mysterious transfer student Cha Jin-wook, the illegitimate child of a rising conglomerate who transfers from an international school to Cheongdam International High School. Jin-wook proposes a contract relationship to the influential Baek Je-na (played by Kim Ye-rim) for his own purposes.

Cha Jin-wook, who makes a comet-like appearance in Season 2, rises to the top of the school’s power structure after his engagement to Baek Je-na and joining 'Diamond 6'. The identity and intentions of Jin-wook, who conceals his true feelings while orchestrating all situations, are said to be the core of the plot development, sparking curiosity. Jin-wook is expected to reveal subtle emotional changes in his relationship with his fiancée Baek Je-na, showcasing a deeper relational dynamic.
