Park Soo-hong and Yang Se-hyung will embark on an in-depth report on the ‘Obstetric Avengers’ who save high-risk mothers.

In the TV Chosun entertainment program ‘Our Baby Has Arrived’ (directed by Lee Seung-hoon and Kim Joon/written by Jang Joo-yeon), airing at 10 PM on the 13th, the daily routine of the four members of the ‘Obstetric Avengers’ responsible for delivering high-risk mothers will be revealed.

Park Soo-hong and Yang Se-hyung will visit the ‘Obstetric Avengers’ who performed the surgery for the triplets that recorded the highest ratings on ‘Our Baby Has Arrived’. Previously, a total of 16 medical staff, including obstetricians, were involved in the delivery of the triplets, and the mother, who was in and out of the intensive care unit, managed to keep the three babies safe with the help of the ‘Obstetric Avengers’, resulting in a healthy birth that moved not only the ‘Spoon Duo’ but also the viewers.

The captain of the ‘Obstetric Avengers’ is Professor Bae Jin-gon, an obstetrician who has recorded over 10,000 deliveries. Additionally, the High-Risk Maternal and Neonatal Integrated Care Center, which he heads, has maintained a 0% mortality rate for high-risk mothers for the past 6 to 7 years.

The obstetricians of the ‘Obstetric Avengers’, Lee Gi-soo, Nam Seung-hyup, and Park Seong-eun, who have been by the captain's side, stated, “He was always at the hospital. In the past, he was the only one performing surgeries, so he never went home,” proving that Professor Bae Jin-gon is the one who has saved many high-risk mothers while on duty without properly going home. The appearance of such an incredible talent made special guest anchor Lee Jung-min exclaim, “It’s really spine-chilling.”

Due to the nature of obstetric surgeries, which are a ‘war against bleeding’, Professor Bae Jin-gon became terrifyingly serious in the operating room, but showed an endlessly warm demeanor towards the mothers. Consequently, the mothers stated, “He is known as a god-level figure in mom cafes,” and “It’s hard to meet the professor, so we call him ‘Unicorn’,” confirming Professor Bae Jin-gon’s reputation for focusing on maternal care 24/7.

As he made his rounds, Park Soo-hong remarked, “It feels like watching a drama,” expressing his amazement. Furthermore, seeing Professor Bae Jin-gon, who always prioritizes his patients, Yang Se-hyung commented, “He gives off a ‘Romantic Doctor Kim Sa-bu’ vibe,” evoking a shared sentiment among everyone reminiscent of actor Han Suk-kyu.

Meanwhile, the ‘Spoon Duo’ Park Soo-hong and Yang Se-hyung, along with special guest anchor Lee Jung-min, were left trembling by the ‘Obstetric Avengers’’ real-life version of an ‘unsung hero’ delivery surgery scene, which can be seen in the first-ever live broadcast variety show on childbirth, TV CHOSUN’s ‘Our Baby Has Arrived’, airing at 10 PM on the 13th.
