Actor Lee Jung-jin has joined 'Groom Class' as a new student.

In the 164th episode of Channel A's 'Recent Men's Life - Groom Class' aired on the 21st, Lee Jung-jin made a surprise appearance as a new student and received a warm welcome from the 'studio mentor group'. According to Nielsen Korea, the broadcast recorded a viewership rating of 2.3% (nationwide for paid broadcasting households), reflecting the strong interest of home viewers.

As spring filled the studio, 'Principal' Lee Seung-cheol introduced Lee Jung-jin, saying, "A student with a strong will to become the best groom has arrived." Lee Jung-jin bowed at a 90-degree angle, saying, "I will learn a lot. Please take care of me," while 'Vice Principal' Lee Da-hae and 'Romance Director' Shim Jin-hwa exclaimed, "Wow! This is so great!" When asked, "Did you originally think about marriage? Or were you averse to marriage?" Lee Jung-jin revealed, "I was never averse to marriage. I was trying, but I felt like I wasn't at the level that I wanted in a partner."

Immediately after, Lee Jung-jin was seen dressed sharply in a suit heading somewhere, which turned out to be a 'marriage information company' (matchmaking agency). He shared, "Honestly, if I was here for dating, I wouldn't have come. I'm not looking for a girlfriend; I want to find someone who will be my spouse and the mother of my child. So I am being more cautious."

A little later, his manager conducted an in-depth interview with Lee Jung-jin, who answered the question, "When was your last relationship?" with "About 2 years ago." He also mentioned his diverse skills, saying, "I like playing golf and have learned photography professionally, even holding a photo exhibition." However, when asked about his 'income', he confessed, "I have almost none this year," but soon after, he specifically revealed details about his current cash and assets, proving his solid financial standing. Regarding his ideal spouse, he said, "I would prefer someone who has experience in social life. Since I want to have children, I would prefer someone younger rather than older. Physically, I prefer tall people." The manager listened to Lee Jung-jin's words and remarked, "You might need to spend some money (on the membership fee). The matching difficulty is quite high," leaving Lee Jung-jin feeling dizzy.

After leaving the 'matchmaking agency', Lee Jung-jin headed to his favorite sundae soup restaurant. Like a solitary gourmet, he enjoyed the sundae soup and then went to meet actor and shaman Jung Ho-geun. Jung Ho-geun, who appeared in a drama with Lee Jung-jin about 23 years ago, greeted him warmly, saying, "You still look handsome!" Lee Jung-jin sought advice about his marriage prospects, and Jung Ho-geun said, "This fall, many good things will happen. You will get married, and everything will bloom like flowers. There is a fortune in documents, and the 'human document' refers to the woman you will marry. Of course, there is also a fortune for children." He advised, "It would be good to meet a woman who is calm and has a sense of weight." Additionally, Jung Ho-geun asked, "Isn't Kim Il-woo also on 'Groom Class'?" inquiring about his college mate Kim Il-woo, and then joked, "I wonder who will get married first between the two of you?" Shortly after, in the studio, Lee Jung-jin revealed to the 'mentor group' curious about Kim Il-woo's marriage prospects, "We were both told that we would get married. They didn't say who would go first." Kim Il-woo smiled at the good news, and Shim Jin-hwa also cheered, "That's the best news I've heard!"

Channel A's 'Groom Class', where representative 'want-to-be' grooms grow into wonderful men and good adults through groom training, airs every Wednesday at 9:30 PM.
