Comedian Shim Hyun-seop held his wedding ceremony surrounded by the blessings of 1,400 guests.
On the 19th, the wedding scene of Shim Hyun-seop was revealed on TV Chosun's ‘Lovers of Joseon’.
On this day, Shim Hyun-seop expressed his excitement, saying, “I have hosted about 820 weddings. After shouting ‘groom entrance’ 820 times, today I am the one entering.” He added, “Last night while sleeping, I remembered the second time I met Jung Young-rim. I think she had already fallen in love with me back then,” which made Jung Young-rim respond with a laugh, “Where did that confidence come from?”
The wedding venue was filled with wreaths, a measure of connections. Among them, a wreath sent by Lee Byung-hun caught attention. Unable to attend the wedding due to promotional schedules, Lee Byung-hun conveyed his feelings through a video. He said, “I sincerely congratulate the marriage of groom Shim Hyun-seop and bride Jung Young-rim. I hope the two of you have a healthy and happy married life. Congratulations once again.”
Additionally, a congratulatory flower sent by Shim Eun-ha also drew attention. A week before the wedding, Shim Eun-ha called Shim Hyun-seop separately, saying, “I don’t watch TV, so I didn’t know, but when I heard the news, I thought it was great. Congratulations.” She continued, “Isn’t wedding preparation really tough? Let’s have a meal together sometime.”
