Channel A's 'Brain Academy' reveals the true identities of the 'brains of the entertainment industry' consisting of six members.
Set to premiere on the 29th at 10 PM, Channel A's 'Brain Academy' features a team of 'six representative brains of the entertainment industry' led by Jeon Hyun-moo, who will compete to answer high-quality quizzes created by the country's top scholars in a knowledge quiz show. Each week, a master representing a specific field will present a series of high-level quizzes, and during this process, the 'Brain Family' of six is expected to bring beneficial laughter through their genuine chemistry and teamwork.
In relation to this, the production team has released a teaser video that reveals their true identities, raising interest in the main broadcast. The teaser, recently shared on Channel A's official SNS and YouTube, vividly captures the moment when the 'brains of the entertainment industry' take a 'pre-test' during their first meeting with the production team.
In the teaser, Jeon Hyun-moo greets the production team warmly and is the first to take the 'pre-test'. After receiving the test paper, he says, "I don't like this," but with sparkling eyes, he solves the problems, surprising the production team with his quick answers, especially in language-related questions, as expected from a 'three-time champion' of the Yonsei University media exam. Feeling triumphant, Jeon Hyun-moo confidently asks, "Who are the other brains?" and cheers excitedly upon hearing about Ha Seok-jin's participation. Shortly after, Ha Seok-jin takes the 'pre-test' and showcases his sharp knowledge across various fields such as politics, technology, psychology, and economics, leaving everyone in awe.
On the other hand, Jeon Hyun-moo shows a contrasting reaction to the news of the joining of Kwon Do, a science communicator with 1.29 million subscribers and a student of astronomy at Yonsei University. Upon hearing about Kwon Do's participation, he quips, "That friend is excessive," making everyone laugh. Unbeknownst to him, Kwon Do impresses during the pre-meeting with his 'physics nerd' eloquence, confidently stating, "How cool would it be to ask on a blind date, 'Do you know the speed of light?'"
Unlike Kwon Do, there is another 'brain' that Jeon Hyun-moo highly praises as "a very smart friend," and that is none other than the 'only female' Yoon So-hee. She graduated early from a science high school and majored in biotechnology at KAIST, making her a top 'genius brain' in the entertainment industry, especially known for her active role in 'Devil's Plan' Season 2, which catches Jeon Hyun-moo's attention.
Shortly after, Yoon So-hee, who participated in the 'pre-test', not only solves difficult science problems with ease but also provides seamless explanations.
