On the 13th, a video titled "Hello, this is Shubli Mom. I have something to say" was posted on Lee Soo-ji's YouTube channel 'Hot Issue Ji'.
Wearing a black dress and no makeup, Lee Soo-ji said, "I am Shubli Mom, a group purchase influencer with 710,000 followers. Today, I turned on the live broadcast to talk about various controversies surrounding me. I sincerely apologize," bowing her head.
The video is a parody of the apology live broadcast of a group purchase influencer. Lee Soo-ji has been portraying an influencer with the nickname 'Shubli Mom' on her channel.
Lee Soo-ji stated, "Recently, there have been various misunderstandings during the group purchase process, but I thought it was better not to respond to each one. However, as various rumors and speculations spread, and even my loved ones were affected, I felt I could no longer remain silent. I want to apologize for the misunderstandings and clarify the parts that are not true," as she became emotional.
When a netizen asked for information about her dress, Lee Soo-ji hesitated and said, "Since this is a communication live broadcast, it might be difficult to provide information today," but added, "If you leave a comment saying 'live broadcast dress,' I will send you the information via DM," bringing laughter even while apologizing.
She continued, "I thought I had been running really hard, but looking back, it seems I was only focused on moving forward. I will accept all criticism and blame. However, I plan to take legal action against false facts and speculative posts. I will repay you with better group purchases in the future," she stated.
Meanwhile, Lee Soo-ji won the Best Female Entertainment Award in the broadcasting category at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards held on the 5th in COEX, Gangnam, Seoul.
