Lee Soon-sil and Yoon Sun-hee faced off in a North Korean cooking competition.
On the afternoon of the 11th, KBS2's entertainment program 'Sajangnim Gwi-eun Dangnagi Gwi' (hereafter 'Sajangui') featured Um Ji-in and Lee Soon-sil as the bosses in turn.
In this episode, Um Ji-in and announcer Hong Joo-yeon appeared as the first bosses. Hong Joo-yeon surprised Um Ji-in by saying, "You were asked to sing. 'Immortal Songs' has contacted us. It's a special episode for rising stars in entertainment."
When Um Ji-in asked, "Who else is coming out?" Hong Joo-yeon replied, "Announcer Kim Dae-ho is coming." Jeon Hyun-moo, who was watching, reassured Um Ji-in, saying, "Don't worry. Kim Dae-ho can't sing well either," and Kim Sook asked, "Who will you support between Hong Joo-yeon and Kim Dae-ho?" To which Jeon Hyun-moo jokingly replied, "Of course, my wife," and then added, "No, we should support KBS, of course."
However, when Um Ji-in asked, "If I go out with Kim Dae-ho, who will you support?" Jeon Hyun-moo answered, "Kim Dae-ho," causing everyone to burst into laughter.
Later, Hong Joo-yeon decided to practice with a dance instructor. However, Um Ji-in appeared. Um Ji-in said, "I can't sleep. I specially brought a duet for you. Don't look far. I'll help you," revealing the reason for her visit.
Um Ji-in played a rearranged version of Son Dam-bi's 'Crazy,' and Hong Joo-yeon took to the chair dance. However, due to her stiff movements, Jeon Hyun-moo expressed concern, saying, "There aren't many women who can't do that... This is a big problem," and even the dance instructor asked, "Should Ji-in do it?" passing the part to Um Ji-in.
The dance practice continued on another day, and Um Ji-in visited aerobics instructor Halmae with Hong Joo-yeon, Kim Jin-woong, Heo Yoo-won, and Jeong Eun-hye. Halmae said, "You have one minute. Change your clothes quickly. If not, you're out!" giving Kim Jin-woong no time to change, and he shocked everyone by wearing tight leggings.
Jeon Hyun-moo exclaimed, "I never wore that," and Hong Joo-yeon laughed in disbelief, saying, "Why is he like that?"
As the life-threatening aerobics began, Halmae shouted, "If you don't enjoy it, it becomes hell in heaven. Do the actions!" She particularly criticized Kim Jin-woong, saying, "He's just working hard but is foolish," while praising Hong Joo-yeon, saying, "She knows how to hit the key points well."
As the individual testing time approached, announcer Jeong Eun-hye was the first to go. Halmae said, "Hey! But why are you acting like a crazy woman? Go!" and eliminated her, while she smiled brightly at the next contestant, Hong Joo-yeon, saying, "Oh, good!"
When it was Heo Yoo-won's turn, Halmae suddenly turned around and grabbed Kim Jin-woong's hair, who was getting some fresh air outside the window. Halmae angrily said, "Hey! It's also courtesy to watch others perform! How rude!" and Kim Jin-woong apologized, saying, "I'm sorry."
In the test results, Um Ji-in scored 83 points, securing the top position, and expressed her gratitude, saying, "I learned so much from the teacher."

The second boss to appear was Lee Soon-sil. Soon-sil visited Yoon Sun-hee and said, "I'm currently preparing North Korean food from the five provinces of North Korea," explaining the reason for her visit. Yoon Sun-hee introduced herself, saying, "I have been in charge of a state-run restaurant in North Korea for a long time. The restaurant was 500 pyeong with 23 employees. The reason I started making Pyongyang cold noodles was to recreate North Korean cold noodles exactly."
After tasting Yoon Sun-hee's Pyongyang cold noodles, Lee Soon-sil acknowledged her skills, saying, "The broth is delicious. This sister has her own unique flavor."
Yoon Sun-hee, who reportedly purchased a total of 6.1 billion won in commercial properties, shared her success story, saying, "I traveled to 17 franchises for two months to find the differentiating points. I also obtained a Korean cuisine chef's license." She added, "I have a book where I wrote down the know-how I learned while visiting all 17 franchises. This time, I really want to see Soon-sil's cooking skills. Shall we have a showdown for the 'Sajangui' boss position? I'll show you some amazing Hamgyeong-do dishes," provoking Lee Soon-sil.
Ultimately, a cooking competition was held for the 'Sajangui' boss position between the two. While Yoon Sun-hee prepared pollack head sundae, eel gangjeong, and pollack soup, Lee Soon-sil worked on Gyeongseong steamed radish and cucumber salad. Soon-sil also tried to interfere by opening Yoon Sun-hee's steamer.
The judging panel continued, and those who tasted the pollack soup praised it, saying, "When my mom made pollack soup, she would give me the eggs, and it tastes just like that," and "It's not too stimulating, so it keeps going in."
Lee Soon-sil's Gyeongseong steamed radish also received compliments, with one judge saying, "It's the first time I've had meat in braised radish. So it's light." In contrast, Yoon Sun-hee criticized, "When making steamed radish, the radish should melt away. But it didn't, so I was disappointed," giving Lee Soon-sil a blow.
As a result of the voting, Lee Soon-sil lost 2 to 1 and faced the risk of losing the 'Sajangui' boss position.
You can catch 'Sajangui' every Sunday at 4:45 PM on KBS2.
