As ‘Squid Game’ Season 3 is set to be released on June 27, teaser posters, trailers, and stills have been unveiled.
Netflix's series ‘Squid Game’ Season 3 tells the story of Gi-hun, who loses his best friend in a game he re-enters with his own purpose, the Frontman who hides his identity while lurking in the game, and the final fates of the participants who survived the brutal game.
The released teaser poster draws attention with Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) positioned among coffins wrapped in pink ribbons. Gi-hun's solemn expression, gazing at something, reveals his anger at losing his best friend Jung-bae (Lee Seo-hwan) and fellow participants as the rebellion fails, raising curiosity about what changes Gi-hun will face in Season 3 after losing something precious in the cruel game. The tagline “The final game for 4.56 billion” and the lined-up coffins pique interest in the fates of the surviving game participants and who will emerge as the winner of this game.

The teaser trailer begins with lively music and the sight of pink guards carrying a coffin into the accommodation. Just as curiosity about the coffin's owner arises, Gi-hun's figure is revealed, and as he opens his eyes, the story of Season 3 unfolds in earnest.
Participants randomly draw balls of two different colors, and their encounters in a maze-like space heighten expectations for new games to be revealed in Season 3. Additionally, scenes of preparing a banquet with VIPs, which were not seen in Season 2, hint that the game is nearing its climax. As the games become increasingly intense and difficult, the participants experience extreme emotions, raising questions about what fate awaits them.
The scenes of Junho (Wi Ha-jun), who continues to track the game venue without giving up, and the pink guard No-eul (Park Gyu-young), who is observing the game venue alone for some reason, also heighten expectations for the dynamic story that will unfold in Season 3. The sound of a baby crying at the end of the trailer adds shock and amplifies curiosity about the fate that awaits the pregnant Joon-hee (Jo Yu-ri).

The press stills capture the characters facing a new phase after the rebellion. A still of Gi-hun, captured and screaming by the pink guards, conveys his desperate feelings. In contrast to Gi-hun's still, the Frontman (Lee Byung-hun) appears relaxed, raising curiosity about what kind of confrontation he will have with Gi-hun as the game’s overseer returns as Participant No. 1, Young-il.
The appearances of the surviving participants Myung-ki (Lim Si-wan), Dae-ho (Kang Ha-neul), Hyun-joo (Park Sung-hoon), Yong-sik (Yang Dong-geun), Geum-ja (Kang Ae-sim), Joon-hee, Seon-nyeo (Chae Guk-hee), Min-soo (Lee Da-wit), and Nam-kyu (Noh Jae-won) are also impressive. As the game progresses, these characters face increasingly intense fear and tension, raising interest in whether they can survive until the end.
A still of Junho, catching his breath on the beach with an oxygen tank, raises questions about whether he can discover the island where the game is taking place and return. A still of No-eul, confronting someone without her mask, draws attention to what actions she will take after breaking the rules of the pink guards. The sight of participants gathered in a room with a keyhole and a knife-shaped door hints at new games to be introduced in Season 3, exciting viewers around the world.
The final game of ‘Squid Game’ will unfold in ‘Squid Game’ Season 3, which will be released exclusively on Netflix on June 27.
