The OST Part.2 of JTBC's weekend drama 'More Beautiful than Heaven' will be released on the 27th at 6 PM through various online music sites.
Part.2 includes two songs: 'Reunion' sung by So Subin and 'Let's Be Happy' sung by Je Hwi. 'Reunion' is a song originally released in 1977 by Park In Hee, reinterpreted with So Subin's clear and delicate voice. The calm yet vivid emotions resonate with listeners, intertwining with the protagonists' narrative that oscillates between life and death, separation and reunion.
In particular, 'Reunion' is produced by Studio Nunchaku, which captures the mood of the original song while expressing a modern sensibility and sound, and So Subin's refreshing and emotional vocals are expected to deliver warm comfort.
'Let's Be Happy' is a song sung by Je Hwi, a singer-songwriter who composed IU's 'Letter to the Night'. With a gentle acoustic guitar accompaniment, it conveys a hopeful message: "We all strive to be happy, so even though life is tough, let's be happy."
Additionally, Seo Dong Hwan, who composed IU's 'Love Wins All', contributed to the composition, lyrics, and arrangement, creating a song that harmonizes with Je Hwi's warm and delicate voice.
'More Beautiful than Heaven' is a transcendent romance that unfolds when Hae Sook (played by Kim Hye Ja), who arrives in heaven at the age of 80, reunites with her husband Nak Jun (played by Son Seok Koo), who has been rejuvenated to his 30s.
