The ‘Divorce Reflection Camp’ team has deleted the VOD of the late Kang Ji-yong's appearance.
A representative from the JTBC entertainment program ‘Divorce Reflection Camp’ stated on the 23rd to Maeil Business Star Today, “We learned about the obituary today and belatedly grasped the situation,” adding, “We express our deep condolences and sympathy to the deceased and their family. We sincerely wish for the repose of the deceased's soul.”
They further stated, “To avoid causing any trouble to the deceased, we took action to delete the VOD of the deceased's appearances (episodes 27-30) after receiving the obituary.”
The deceased appeared as a couple in the 9th season of ‘Divorce Reflection Camp’ which aired last February. It seems the deletion was made because the show reveals the couple's conflicts and family history in a realistic manner.
Kang Ji-yong passed away on the 22nd at the age of 36. The funeral is set at the special funeral hall No. 2 of Soonchunhyang University Hospital in Cheonan, with the burial taking place on the 25th at Cheonan Memorial Park.
