Singer Lee Chan-won shared the reactions of the ‘Mr. Trot’ members after receiving the KBS Entertainment Award last year.

On the afternoon of the 17th, a press conference was held at KBS New Building in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, to commemorate the 700th episode of KBS2’s ‘Immortal Songs’. PDs Park Hyung-geun, Kim Hyung-seok, and Choi Seung-beom, along with Kim Jun-hyun and Lee Chan-won, attended.

Lee Chan-won stated, “Last year, I received a precious award while doing many programs at KBS. I did five programs throughout the year. Regarding the Grand Prize, I wish I could give 20% to each program, but I believe ‘Immortal Songs’ contributed the most.”

He also mentioned, “All the members of ‘Mr. Trot’ congratulated me. Jang Min-ho congratulated me at an awards ceremony, and other members also reached out,” adding, “The most memorable reaction was from Jung Dong-won. When he meets me, he still acts like a playful boy since he is still a student, but now he treats me like a Grand Prize winner. That really stuck with me.”

‘Immortal Songs’, which first aired in 2011, is celebrating its 700th episode and will feature ‘The Seven Legends’ over two weeks on April 5 and 12. Choi Baek-ho, Kim Chang-wan, The Blue, Yoon Jong-shin, YB, Jaurim, and Gummy will join as ‘The Seven Legends’. It airs every Saturday at 6:05 PM.
