Oh Nara shared her thoughts on taking on a sitcom with “The Land of Villains.”
On the afternoon of the 12th, a production presentation for KBS2's new drama “The Land of Villains” was held at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam, Seoul. Director Kim Young-jo and actors Oh Nara, So Yoo-jin, Seo Hyun-cheol, Song Jin-woo, Park Young-kyu, and Choi Ye-na attended.
Oh Nara said, “I play the ultimate villain Oh Nara, who lives today as if there is no tomorrow.”
She continued, “I thought it was fate that I got to do a sitcom. I often imagine and act in a sitcom-like way. I was wondering when the opportunity would come, and then the director called me.”
Oh Nara also mentioned, “These days, many people are rewatching old sitcoms while having meals. I realized that many people miss sitcoms, and I thought it would be great to revive them. KBS quickly made it happen, and I am honored to work with such wonderful actors.” She added, “We filmed until dawn yesterday, but the reason we can do it without getting tired and while smiling is that we are happy. We are happy, and I hope the viewers feel as happy as we do.”
“The Land of Villains” is a situational comedy drama that captures the sometimes rough yet warm daily lives of K-Zoomma sisters and their quirky family. It will air on the 19th at 9:50 PM.
