The broadcast of 'Dear M', which was canceled due to allegations of school violence against actor Park Hye-soo, is currently under scheduling review.
KBS JOY stated on the 10th to Maeil Business Star Today, "'Dear M' is under scheduling review." 'Dear M' is a non-edited, no-filter youth romance drama that unfolds a pink-tinted mystery as it searches for 'M', the protagonist of a post that shook up Seoyeon University.
Originally scheduled to air in February 2021, the broadcast was indefinitely postponed due to school violence allegations against lead actor Park Hye-soo. It was first released in Japan in June of the same year.
After the school violence controversy, Park Hye-soo took a period of self-reflection and made her first official appearance at the 27th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in October 2022 for the film 'You and I' during a GV (Guest Visit) event.
