In the KBS2 show ‘The Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears’ (hereafter ‘Sadangui’) airing on the 2nd, Lee Soon-sil receives basic singing lessons from Park Myung-soo to participate in the ‘Unification Echo Band’ singing audition. However, it is rumored that she couldn't progress beyond a single line and ended up just matching the never-ending beat.
Lee Soon-sil shares her ambitious dream of singing in the ‘Unification Echo Band’, which consists of North Korean artists. However, when she starts singing Park Myung-soo's ‘Prince of the Sea’, the band members, who consider themselves prepared singers with released albums, are horrified by her tone-deaf performance and exclaim, “You absolutely cannot!” and add, “Anyone can release an album if they have money.”
Watching this in the studio, Park Myung-soo exclaims, “What do you mean anyone can release an album?” and radiates the aura of North Korea's top MZ star. He then remarks, “There’s a review of the song, but all of Lee Soon-sil's singing scenes have been edited out,” expressing his curiosity about why it had to be edited and spontaneously starts a singing class. As Lee Soon-sil begins to sing along to Park Myung-soo's hand beats, she can't even get through a line, prompting him to shout, “Again,” and “No, that’s not it. Again,” making everyone burst into laughter.
During the impromptu performance of Park Myung-soo's ‘Prince of the Sea’, Lee Soon-sil declares, “I will be a guest at Park Myung-soo's concert.” Startled, Park Myung-soo responds, “I don’t think you can sing. I won’t hold a concert,” putting up a strong defense. Lee Soon-sil humorously reveals, “I have one music track, and it has 6 views. It’s me, my husband, and the writer.”
