Actress Shin Dong-mi is making her way to theaters with 'Invasion'.
Shin Dong-mi will appear in the film 'Invasion', continuing her brilliant performance on the screen. 'Invasion' is a psychological thriller that depicts the breakdown of daily life for Yeong, whose life is disrupted by her daughter So-hyun's strange behavior, and the cracks that occur when Min, who has lost her memories of the past 20 years later, confronts Hae-young.
Shin Dong-mi plays the role of Hyun-gyeong, a character with a warm personality and a straightforward nature. Hyun-gyeong is an employee of a special cleaning company responsible for handling solitary death scenes, and due to her compassionate nature, she has a relationship with Min (played by Kwon Yu-ri) and Hae-young (Lee Seol) that goes beyond mere colleagues. Shin Dong-mi is expected to showcase a seamless acting ensemble with Kwon Yu-ri and Lee Seol, heightening not only the thriller's charm but also the overall tension throughout the film.
So far, Shin Dong-mi has demonstrated her prowess as an 'acting artisan' regardless of the medium, genre, or character.
Shin Dong-mi transformed into the charming and righteous Jo Jin-dal in the drama 'Welcome to Samdali', which recorded a peak rating of 12.4%, bringing pure laughter to the living room with her outstanding performance. In the play 'God of Carnage', which concluded last month, she received acclaim for providing overwhelming immersion.
Shin Dong-mi's return to the screen, 'Invasion', is set to be released in March.
