'The Trot Show' will start broadcasting in 2025.

In celebration of 2025, SBS Life's 'The Trot Show' will return with an upgraded format, live on the 10th, hosted by MC Kim Hee-jae.

'The Trot Show' is the first live broadcast trot chart show where viewers can see the rankings of all trot singers. Since its launch on March 31, 2021, it has established itself as a new trot chart show enjoyed by all generations.

This year, 'The Trot Show' plans to enhance its ranking introduction method and diverse format to become a more interesting and objective live broadcast trot chart show.

Kim Hee-jae will serve as the MC for 'The Trot Show' for the third consecutive year. Since taking the MC microphone in 2023, he has received much love, leading fellow singers and viewers comfortably, earning nicknames like 'Mundehee Boy' and 'The Trot Show Guardian Hee.'

Kim Hee-jae expressed his feelings about being the MC for 'The Trot Show' for three years, saying, "I remember when I first took on the MC role. I came to the stage just to perform on 'The Trot Show,' but standing there as an MC felt completely different. I felt a sense of responsibility to do well. So, I practiced as if I were doing a live broadcast alone at home. I think those moments helped me grow a lot. I am very happy to be able to grow together with 'The Trot Show' in the future."

He continued, "This year, I want to be an MC who brings laughter. I want to work hard so that viewers can smile more. I will strive to show the qualities of a third-year MC of 'The Trot Show.' I hope you have a happy year with 'The Trot Show.' I love you all," he concluded.

The chart songs and candidate songs for 'The Trot Show' are selected from trot genre songs released since January 1, 2022. Preliminary voting for the selected 100 candidate songs will take place for four days, one week before the live broadcast, and real-time voting will occur on the day of the live broadcast from 7:05 PM to 8:00 PM. The final number one song will be determined by combining the preliminary voting scores from music scores, social media scores, broadcast scores, and voting scores with the real-time live broadcast votes. If a song ranks number one for three consecutive weeks, it will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

'The Trot Show' will be broadcast live every Monday, with the next broadcast on the 10th at 7 PM on SBS Life and SBS M.
