Yoo Ho-jin from ‘The Magic Star’ won the Hot Issue Award at the ‘2024 SBS Entertainment Awards’.
On the 29th at 8:20 PM, the ‘2024 SBS Entertainment Awards’ was broadcast live from SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The awards ceremony was originally scheduled for December 31 of last year but was postponed due to a mourning atmosphere following the Jeju Air incident.
Immediately after receiving the award, Yoo Ho-jin took the stage and introduced himself, saying, “I am magician Yoo Ho-jin,” and expressed, “As a magician, there aren’t many magical things in life, but I had a magical year while doing ‘The Magic Star’ last year.”
He continued, “This award may be small, but it feels heavy. I believe it carries a lot of meaning. I would like to thank the fellow magicians and the production team who supported me. I also thank my family.”
Meanwhile, the ‘2024 SBS Entertainment Awards’ was hosted by Jeon Hyun-moo, Jang Do-yeon, and Lee Hyun-yi. This year’s Grand Prize nominees included Yoo Jae-suk, Jeon Hyun-moo, Shin Dong-yup, Lee Sang-min, Seo Jang-hoon, Lee Hyun-yi, and Kim Jong-kook.
