In the MBC Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Call You’re Making Now’ (written by Kim Ji-woon, directed by Park Sang-woo and Wi Deuk-kyu), which airs at 9:50 PM on the 29th, Baek Sa-eon (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) has a meeting disguised as a coincidence with Hong Hee-joo (played by Chae Soo-bin) and Ji Sang-woo (played by Heo Nam-joon).
In the previous episode, Sa-eon became wary of his wife Hee-joo's college senior Sang-woo, who suddenly appeared around her while he was chasing the identity of a blackmailer, causing him to be on high alert. Additionally, in the epilogue, it was revealed that the person who switched Hee-joo with her sister Hong In-ah (played by Han Jae-yi) as the bride was Sa-eon, drawing attention to his true feelings for his wife.
On the day of the broadcast (29th), stills of Sa-eon, Hee-joo, Sang-woo, and Na Yu-ri (played by Jang Gyu-ri) facing each other were released. The stills evoke curiosity about how the first meeting between the four unfolded, as the atmosphere appears awkward even from the images alone.
Sa-eon, who has his suspicions about the relationship between Hee-joo and Sang-woo, follows the two under the guise of coincidence. Hee-joo, who was having a meal with Sang-woo at a restaurant, is taken aback by the sudden appearance of her husband.
Joining the two naturally, Sa-eon starts probing into Sang-woo's personal information, causing discomfort for the latter. Although they exchange business cards with smiles, the tension between the two men, who are solely focused on each other, raises curiosity about what kind of conversation transpired between them.
Meanwhile, Yu-ri, who is excited about a sudden appointment with Sa-eon, senses something strange about his behavior. As confusion is evident on Yu-ri's face, attention is drawn to whether she, who genuinely admires Sa-eon with respect and affection, will realize the relationship between Sa-eon and Hee-joo in the main broadcast.
