Actor Lee Si-woo's photoshoot has been revealed.
The magazine ‘Singles’ has released a visual photoshoot of Lee Si-woo, the lead actor in the tvN weekend drama ‘Love is on a Narrow Bridge,’ which successfully concluded on the 29th of last month. In the photoshoot, Lee Si-woo showcased various styles, creating a sophisticated atmosphere.
Lee Si-woo has been active in portraying a variety of characters, from the main villain Jung Kyung-tae in the Coupang Play drama ‘Boys’ Era’ to the earnest character Gong Mun-soo, who shows direct moments towards Yoon Ji-won played by Jung Yu-mi in ‘Love is on a Narrow Bridge.’
When asked what the character Kyung-tae in ‘Boys’ Era’ meant to him as an actor, Lee Si-woo said, “Every work is like that, but Kyung-tae in ‘Boys’ Era’ was a ‘challenge’ for me. He is a villain, and I had to use a dialect, perform many action scenes, and even ride a motorcycle, which made me feel a lot of pressure and fear before I even started acting. Above all, I had to accomplish all of that in a short period, so I had many worries.”
He also shared, “Through the time spent playing Kyung-tae, I learned what intensity means. How should I put it, I feel like I’ve become more solid.”
In the variety show ‘Great Guide,’ actor Shin Hyun-joon mentioned, “Lee Si-woo’s face embodies both good and evil.” Lee Si-woo responded, “It’s a great blessing. I can only be thankful to my parents. (Laughs) Thanks to that, when I face a new project, excitement comes before pressure. Every time I meet a new role, I do think, ‘What kind of face will I show this time?’ but the excitement of thinking, ‘I should bring out this face in this project’ is greater.”
Next, when asked if there were any specific details or aspects he focused on while playing Gong Mun-soo in ‘Love is on a Narrow Bridge,’ Lee Si-woo said, “I wondered how to make the ‘quirky straightforward guy’ not feel burdensome. I thought everything should not be heavy. Even if I do the same action, I believed that if there’s a bright and fresh feeling, it would be acceptable. So, I wore a lot of primary colors like red and blue. Overall, I paid a lot of attention to giving a brighter and more cheerful vibe.”
In the February issue of ‘Singles,’ the photoshoot visually expressed the diverse acting spectrum of Lee Si-woo, from Kyung-tae in ‘Boys’ Era’ to Yoon Min-jae in ‘Paper Moon’ and Gong Mun-soo in ‘Love is on a Narrow Bridge.’ When asked what color he thinks his own spectrum is, Lee Si-woo said, “I want to say it’s transparent. I believe that depending on who I meet, what I think, what I eat, and what experiences I have, the color can change infinitely. I actually experience that. So, I want to express it as transparent. (Laughs)” showcasing his infinite potential.
Finally, when asked about his interests, Lee Si-woo said, “I gain a lot of inspiration from observing nature while running. When I experience and observe, there are moments when my body and mind naturally become healthy, and I gain wisdom.”
He added, “Running is a very precise exercise, so my body’s senses become delicate and sensitive, which helps a lot when acting. Being nature-friendly ultimately means living with nature. That also involves continuously thinking from the perspective of others, not just myself. It’s hard to practice every single one, but I believe that if these thoughts and choices accumulate, I will become a deeper and warmer person. That will definitely have a good influence when acting.”
